Diwali Laxmi Pujan
On Amavasya tithi of Kartik maas Krishna paksh, Mata Laxmi visits every home to bless the residents. For this reason, devotees clean and decorate their home and yard to welcome Mata Laxmi for Diwali. By celebrating Diwali, Mata Laxmi is pleased and takes residence in devotees homes, showering them with blessings.
For Diwali, devotees are encouraged to prepare a variety of sweet and savoury dishes as prasad for Mata Laxmi.
